Colleges and universities that had reopened their admission portals, inviting fresh applications for undergraduate admissions, received “decent response”. The portals were reopened after the education department gave a sevenday window, from October 1 to October 8, and allowed institutes to invite fresh applications for the vacant seats they had in some subjects.
