Odisha to float global e-tender for vaccines

Odisha will float a global e-tender to procure Covid-19 vaccines to inoculate people in the 18-44 years age group. The state cabinet chaired by CM Naveen Patnaik gave its nod to such a proposal on Monday. The decision was taken as the current pace at which the state has been getting vaccines from SII and Bharat Biotech is slow and would take months to vaccinate everyone.
