West Bengal: Drain clean-up drive in Salt Lake
Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is scooping out several hundred kilos of waste — including plastic packets, diapers, abandoned tyres, building construction materials and debris — from the gully pits using a gully pit emptier machine to clear the clogged drainage lines across Salt Lake and Rajarhat.
