WB to bar costly cancer drug use in Swasthya Sathi
The Bengal government is set to issue a guideline to private hospitals, barring certain high-value cancer drugs under Swasthya Sathi. The development comes a little over a month-and-a-half since TOI first highlighted reports of misuse of the flagship scheme through over-prescription of expensive cancer medicines.
