India's Lovlina Borgohain will take on favorite Busenaz Srmeneli of Turkey in the ladies' Welter (64-69kg) classification semi-finals in boxing. Lovlina had an intense Round of 16 sessions against Germany's Nadine Apetz where she won through a split choice. In the quarterfinal, Lovlina punched her direction through to the semis with a 4:1 success over Chinese Taipei's Nien-Chin Chen. Prior, grapplers Ravi Dahiya and Deepak Punia won their underlying two sessions to arrive at the semi-finals. The two grapplers will be in real life later in the day and success will guarantee both of something like a silver decoration.
In the lance toss, India's Neeraj Chopra qualified for the men's last in his first endeavor itself as he went past the programmed capability sign of 83.50m without any problem.
