The city received intermittent drizzles till late on Tuesday evening as the “well-marked low-pressure” — that is set to hit Gangetic Bengal and the city, triggering heavy rain — moved slowly over north Bay of Bengal. It started to rain in the evening and the wind speed increased in Kolkata after 7.30pm.
