Transport trouble take chicken, egg prices to ‘lockdown’ high
Retail prices of chicken and egg have hit the high that was witnessed a year ago following the lockdown. While the price escalation then was due to supply shortage because of transportation problems, the current rise is due to a rise in production cost and transportation.
