Jason Roy, PotM: This is special for us. We needed to back up our performance against the West Indies. We came out firing. I'm glad I've gotten into more of a routine now in the last few years. We had to keep wickets in hand and power through in the back end. I've been working hard on playing spin over the last few years. It's a part of my game that's improved.

England need 3 from 36 balls. Bairstow pulls for FOUR and England have their second win of the T20 World Cup super 12 stage! After having restricted Bangladesh to just 124, they chase down the target in only 14 overs, thanks to some excellent batting from Jason Roy, to register an 8-wicket win!

Mustafizur to bowl his third over. England need 11 runs in 42 balls. Dot and two singles to begin. Oh, spanked up and over extra cover for FOUR by Malan, very nicely done. That was hit with some venom! Two more singles to end the over.

Shoriful Islam to bowl, and you'd think Jason Roy will look to step on the gas now, having reached the half-century mark. Dot, and then what a shot from Roy! He shuffles across the wicket, twists his body and scoops it over the keeper for SIX! Two singles and then OUT! Jason Roy walks back after an excellent knock, he tries the ramped shot again, but it's very well taken at third by Nasum Ahmed. Jonny Bairstow comes on, and runs a double to get off the mark on the last ball of the over.

Nasum to bowl a third over. He's the only Bangladesh bowler to have picked up a wicket, can he do so again to give his team a faint glimmer of hope? Two singles and then a dot. Oh, 50 for Jason Roy, and he brings it up with a SIX! That was hit straight down the ground with aplomb. It also brings up the 100-run mark for England. It's been classy batting from him, he's just eased through whatever Bangladesh have thrown at him and kept the scoreboard ticking along nicely. Single and a double to end the over.

Shakib returns for a third over. Single and dot, and then a wide. Oh, another wide down the leg side. This isn't great from the veteran, Bangladesh don't have any runs to spare here. Malan runs a single. Shakib's really trying to hang the ball in the air and get some purchase off the pitch, but it's not quite working for him at the minute. Three more singles to end the over, and it's time for a drinks break.

Mahedi continues. Starts with a wide down the leg side. Roy then lands a lovely sweep, but it's hit to a fielder, only two runs off it. Five singles in a row to end the over, England's unstoppable march continues.

Nasum's second over. Oh nicely played Dawid Malan! Very deft reverse sweep, and it's fine of short third, it goes out for FOUR! Four singles follow, and then Malan hits another FOUR! He threads the shot through the gap between extra cover and long off. England look so unbothered and relaxed out there, they're coasting towards the win.

Mahedi Hasan's first over. Begins with a dot and a single, and then Jason Roy steps up and hammers it down the ground for SIX! It has just enough on it to get over the boundary rope, despite Mohammed Naim's best attempts to stop it. Roy then cuts behind point for FOUR! Elegant shot from the England batter. Two singles to end the over, 13 off it.

Mustafizur's second over, and the first ball is a beauty, moving away from Roy. Bangladesh are convinced that there was a nick off the bat and that it's out. Umpire doesn't think so, neither does Roy. There's a review, and the ultra edge shows no contact between bat and ball. Single and a dot follow. Dawid Malan then gets off the mark with a single. Oh lovely stuff from Jason Roy, it was bowled into the leg side and he flicks it fine for FOUR! Deft work from him. Almost identical outcome on the very next ball, but this time it's come off the pads, and Fizz thinks it's LBW! No one else agrees with him, and honestly, it looked wide of the stumps. 50-run mark comes up for England, good powerplay this.

Nasum's first over starts with a dot. Buttler then hits towards deep square legs and sprints two. This partnership is already more than anything Bangladesh managed. Two dots and then OUT! Jos Buttler holes out to Mohammad Naim at wide long-off! Buttler and Roy looked dangerous out there, and Bangladesh will breathe a sigh of relief. Nasum Ahmed has the wicket! Single to end the over

Shoriful Islam is brought into the attack. Dot, wide and then a single to begin. Oh very nicely done by Buttler, he finds the gap between mid-wicket and long-on and it's FOUR! Three singles to end the over, England are cruising at the moment.

Shakib continues. Single off the first ball, and then a dot. Decent start from England this. Single and then SIX!! Wonderful use of the feet, and it's whacked over Shakib's head! Very nicely done by the England batter, he's supposed to be struggling against left-arm spin isn't he? Dot and then a well-run double to end the over.

Mustafizur to bowl. Huuuuge shout for LBW, but Jason Roy doesn't seem too bothered. Neither does the umpire. It was swinging back in dangerously. Bangladesh choose not to review, England have a leg bye. Two dots follow, the Fizz is looking quite dangerous. Another call for LBW, another single. The England duo look like they're struggling to read him. Wide down the leg side. Oh nicely played by Roy! Stroked down the ground, and it zips away for FOUR! That was straight as an arrow, almost took out the stumps on the non-striker's end. Oh, huge slice of luck! A big inside edge and it goes for four through the gap between the wicket keeper and short fine.

Alright then, Jason Roy and Jos Buttler are out to bat, these two are absolutely unforgiving, Bangladesh would do well to get them out quickly. Shakib al Hasan to bowl. Roy cuts the very first delivery wide of point for FOUR! Ominous signs already. Single, dot and single follow. If England can wrap this up quickly, it would be a real boost to their NRR. Single and dot to end the first over.

Tymal Mills will bowl the final over. Wide, and Bangladesh run a single as well. Two dot balls follow, England have bowled 50 off those in the innings. Two runs, and that really should have been a run out. Mills was unable to collect Moeen Ali's throw at the non-striker's end, and Nasum gets to safety. Short ball, and Mills believes there's been a slight nick on it as it carried through to the keeper. England decide to review it. Yep, it glanced off the glove, that's out. Oh bowled 'em, another wicket for Mills as Mustafizur departs!

Adil Rashid to bowl his final over. He's been relatively economical, but he hasn't picked up a wicket yet. Starts with a single, and then the first SIX of the innings! Nasum swings hard and sends it over deep backward square! Two dots and then another SIX! Smart cricket from Nasum, he's targeting that short side and it's struck firmly to backward square leg! Oh wow, Nasum hit's a deft little FOUR! Cut away into the gap at third man, that rolls to the boundary line.

Tymal Milss' third over.  He starts with a wicket! Mahedi Hasan tried a cute scoop shot, but ended up getting nowhere near enough power on it to lift it over the head of short fine leg. Woakes takes a simple catch. Two singles follow, and it brings up the 100-run mark for Bangladesh. Oh almost another wicket! Huge top edge, but Chris Woakes can't reach it in time, didn't quite carry to him. Bangladesh run two. Two dots to end the over.

Adil Rashid's third over now. Starts with three singles, and then a boundary for Mahedi Hasan! Inside out shot over extra cover, very nicely done for FOUR! Dot and a single to end the over.

Tymal Mills's second over. Single, dot and single to start. It's been 20 deliveries since the last boundary for Bangladesh. Good fielding from Roy at backward point to prevent a four, Bangladesh run a single. A dot, and then finally a four! Nurul gets an edge on it, and it's very very fine, too fine for the fielder placed in that area.

Livingstone to bowl his third over. Single, dot and single to begin. Things have really slowed down for Bangladesh here, they need to step on the gas and quick. OUT! Livingstone bags his second wicket! Mahmudullah looked intent on hitting it out of the park, but he ends up awkwardly slicing into the hands of backward point! dot to end the over.

Liam Livingstone to bowl now. Single and dot, before Mushfiqur lifts a shot over cover and runs two. Oh huge shout for LBW! Mushfiqur tried to reverse sweep, and it appeared to bounce off his pads and out for a boundary. The umpire doesn't think so, England review. No bat, and it's hitting the wickets, that's out! Two dots to end the over.

Tymal Mills into the attack, and it's an eventful start! There's a big shout for run out, after Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur attempt a risky single. Mushfiqur was just safe, by a few centimetres. Another single, and then some hard running from the Bangladesh duo results in a double. FOUR! Clever stuff from Mushfiqur, he ramped a shorter delivery over the keeper and it reaches the boundary ropes without any opposition. Double off the last ball, time for a drinks break now, the conditions are brutal in the UAE today.

Rashid continues, he was quite economical in his first, can he keep it up? Two singles to begin, and then Mahmudullah shows some signs of intent by hitting it down the ground for FOUR! Dot, single and dot follow, and that brings up the fifty-run mark for Bangladesh.

Chris Jordan's first over now. Mushfiqur runs two off the first ball. Wide next, but Buttler thinks there was something on that. He appeals, the umpire looks thoroughly disinterested. England don't bother reviewing. Oh, FOUR! Big edge on it, and it whips off the boundary rope past the keeper. Three singles and then another wide. Single off the last ball. 12 runs off the over.

Adil Rashid's already impressed with his fielding, and he gets a go with the ball. Two dots, and the Mushfiqur breathes a sigh of relief as his attempted reverse sweep is almost caught by Tymal Mills, who does very well to prevent a boundary. That would have been the catch of the tournament if he'd held on. Two singles and a dot to round out the over.

Chris Woakes continues, he'll bowl the final over of the powerplay. Shakib runs a quick double and then he's OUT! What a brilliant diving catch by Adil Rashid! Shakib al Hasan's shot was looping over the England fielder's head at short fine, but he furiously backpedals and just about manages to hold on. Woakes gets the wicket! Three dots and a single to end the over, this was a pretty good powerplay for England.

Morgan's sticking with Moeen, who will bowl his third over. Starts with a single and two dot balls. Shakib then runs a single after hitting towards long-off. There have been no boundaries since that first over, and the powerplay is almost at an end. Dot, and then FOUR!! Mushfiqur struck that firmly, and it's straight as an arrow, right down the ground.

Moeen Ali to bowl his second over. Single off the first and then OUT! Moeen Ali strikes! Liton Das top-edges a shot to deep backward square, and it's taken convincingly by Livingstone! OUT! Two in two balls! Moeen Ali is loving his cricket at the moment, Mohammad Naim ends up prodding the ball into the hands of mid-on. Ali on a hattrick! Two dots and a single to end the over.

Chris Woakes to bowl, and he starts off with a couple of dots. Oh, almost a catch there, it was lofted over Malan at midwicket. Maybe if Shaq was playing, he could have caught that, but Malan just wasn't tall enough. Bangladesh run two. Single and two dots to end the over.

Aaaand we're off! Moeen Ali to begin the bowling, Liton and Naim out at the crease for Bangladesh. Two dot balls and then Liton gets off the mark with a single. Naim also takes a single, before Liton uses his feet smartly to come down the track and hit right over Ali's head for a boundary straight down the ground. He does the same on the next ball, but this time he unleashes a cannon of a shot through the covers, and it's another FOUR!

High-flying England face Bangladesh challenge in tricky conditions

Buoyed by the emphatic win over defending champions West Indies, England would look to continue their winning momentum when they face Bangladesh in a tricky Super 12 clash of the T20 World Cup on Wednesday.

Their bowling unit was right on the job as the Eoin Morgan-led England bundled out an otherwise lacklustre West Indies for a paltry 55 in 14.2 overs before cantering home in 8.2 overs.
