Adam Kolbrenner, recognized for films like “The Tomorrow War” and “Free Guy,” along with Zach Dean, who wrote the original screenplay, are also part of the production team. The story follows a bartender on a cruise ship who encounters a mysterious day drinker, leading both characters into a dangerous criminal world where their lives intertwine in surprising ways. Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Adam Fogelson expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating that it combines a commercially appealing concept with unexpected twists, and he believes that Marc Webb and the lead actors are perfectly suited to bring this vision to life. Chelsea Kujawa is overseeing the project for Lionsgate, while Dan Freedman handled the negotiations for the studio.
