Goa: No breaks, participants walk out of Margao meet at 6pm
The public hearing on the draft Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) for South Goa at Margao on Thursday was marked by frequent protests and, eventually, an en masse walkout by evening. Participants boycotted the proceedings in protest of the authorities’ decision to continue the hearing without adjourning it for the day.
