Bengal loses 37 doctors in Covid second wave
The pandemic continues to claim the lives of doctors. Till date, 142 doctors have died of Covid-19 in Bengal, 37 of them in the second wave. The vaccines appear to have reduced the mortality rate among doctors, with only a third of the deaths being recorded in the post-vaccination period.
