Ganesh Puja organizers want to be part of ‘Aasaan’
Several Ganesh Puja organizers have approached Kolkata Police, KMC and CESC, asking them to be brought under Aasaan, the single-window permission website, which is provided to Durga Puja, Kali Puja and Jagaddhatri Puja organizers. With hardly any time left for the first major pujas of this year, the organizers feel they are being “needlessly” made to run around from one department to another in these Covid times to get the necessary clearances.
