TN: 'Full vax for tribals, tea estate employees by June-end'
After vaccinating 3.9 lakh people on Monday— the highest since January — Tamil Nadu announced it will ensure 100% vaccination of select groups such as tribals, employees of tea estates and residents of tourist destinations over the next few weeks ahead of the anticipated third wave. It will also put some cities such as Chennai and Coimbatore – the erstwhile hotspots — on “hyper vaccination mode”.
