Tamil Nadu govt passes resolution against CAA

The Tamil Nadu assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution urging the Centre to repeal the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. Chief minister M K Stalin said the legislation enacted by Parliament was not in tune with the secular principles laid down in the Constitution and not conducive to the communal harmony that prevailed in the country.
