Ravichandran Ashwin eyes several records in India vs England second Test
All eyes will be on Ravichandran Ashwin as the Indian spin magician is on the verge of setting several records in the second Test against England. Ashwin currently has 496 wickets to his name in Tests. Ashwin needs four more dismissals to emerge as just the second bowler in the history of Indian cricket to claim 500 Test wickets. Former India skipper Anil Kumble is the only other bowler from the country who has 500 wickets or more in Test cricket. Overall, four spinners have so far breached the 500-wicket mark in this format.

Ashwin had bagged six wickets in the opening Test against England but could not guide his side to a victory in that game played in Hyderabad. Chasing a total of 231, the hosts fell short by 28 runs.
In the second Test, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. Madhya Pradesh batter Rajat Patidar is making his Test debut in the second match against England. With big names like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja missing the game, it will certainly be a challenging task for the hosts to win the match and draw level in the series against the Ben Stokes-led side.
