Night curbs: Kolkata cops focus on errant bikers
The police are making plans to rein in bikers after they emerged as the biggest violators of traffic rules during the 10-day Puja relaxation. During the festive break from night restrictions, 1,063 bikes were seized, with a quarter of the prosecutions happening after 11pm. Several of the those bikes did not have proper documents leading to seizures under Section 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
