K'taka: 50% cut in property tax of hotels, resorts this yr

In a bid to revive tourism, the Karnataka government on Thursday announced 50% cut in property tax for hotels, resorts, restaurants and entertainment parks for the current year. In a press release, tourism minister CP Yogeshwar announced complete waiver of minimum fixed charges in electricity bills of these commercial properties for April, May and June.
