Killed Safieddine, presumed Nasrallah heir, 3 weeks ago, says Israeli military
The Israeli military announced it killed Hashem Safieddine, presumed successor to Hezbollah's assassinated chief, in an air strike near Beirut weeks ago. The strike targeted a meeting of senior Hezbollah members, resulting in the deaths of more than 25 operatives.
