KERC notifies draft rules on prepaid smart meters in Karnataka
The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) has notified draft rules for installing 'prepaid smart meter' for all categories of consumers across the state which is expected to help citizens save big on paying annual security deposits (ASD) to Escoms and pre-empt attempts at tampering with power usage during the time of billing.
