Kerala govt suspends IG Lakshman over Monson Mavunkal ties
The government has suspended IG (traffic and social policing) G Lakshman from service pending an enquiry, on the basis of the report from the crime branch that he had close ties with conman Monson Mavunkal and he had been helping him in his illegal activities.
