Karnataka: A jumbo camp on Veerappan’s turf
The one-time domain of slain forest brigand and ivory smuggler Veerappan, known to have killed hundreds of jumbos for their tusks over three decades, will soon house a camp for elephants, following a nod from the Karnataka government and funds to boot.
