Johnny was at the premiere for his latest movie Jeanne duBarry yesterday at the Cinema du Pantheon in Paris. Al Pacino was there, too, for a Donnie Brasco anniversary viewing. Full Gallery The film is Depp’s first live-action project since 2020’s Minamata, though he is about to go back to work behind the camera as a director, with Pacino as a producer. It was reported in August 2022 that Depp will direct Modigliani, a film about Italian sculptor and painter Amedeo Modigliani. Pacino is set to produce the project alongside Depp and Barry Navidi, with production slated to begin sometime this year. Jeanne duBarry will open in public cinemas May 15.
