They trail England by another 127 runs, having bowled them out for 246 with Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja collecting three wickets each.

England did fight back in phases, especially with their opening partnership as well as skipper Stokes’ rearguard that helped the visitors get within touching distance of the 250-mark. But ultimately it was India who finished the day in the driving seat.
