In 20 months, only 4% of deaths in K'taka due to Covid
Health minister K Sudhakar on Monday told the legislative council that as many as 4.6 lakh people died in Karnataka in the past eight months, while the state recorded nearly 9.5 lakh deaths overall since January 1, 2020. However, he said, only 37,423 died due to Covid-19 since the onset of the pandemic last year.
