G7 restricting Russian Central Bank’s use of gold; US imposes more curbs

The leaders of Group of Seven nations — the United States, Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan — announced on Thursday that they are restricting the Russian Central Bank’s use of gold in transactions. Besides this, the Biden administration announced a new round of sanctions against Russia.
