First vaccine trial on children in Kolkata at ICH
With the threat of a possible third wave looming large on the paediatric population, the Institute of Child Health (ICH) Kolkata is set to share the responsibility of finding out the efficacy of a Covid-19 vaccine on children. One of the oldest referral hospitals for children in India, ICH will be part of the pan-India Phase-III clinical trial for a vaccine by Zydus Cadila on children aged between 12 and 18 years.
