CU asks colleges to increase seats for sought-after subjects

Calcutta University has directed some of its colleges to increase the number of seats in undergraduate courses to accommodate the high number of candidates who passed Class XII this year. While pass percentage has increased in both ISC and CBSE Class XII, 100% students who took Higher Secondary were awarded pass marks.
