Court frames money laundering charges against former Tamil Nadu minister Senthil Balaji
A special court in Chennai framed money laundering charges against former Tamil Nadu minister V Senthil Balaji. Arrested in June 2023, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a 3,000-page chargesheet against him in August. The court denied his request to delay proceedings until the Supreme Court addressed his bail application, and the next hearing is scheduled for August 16.
