Couple drown after their car falls into pit in Tamil Nadu's Tirunelveli
A couple from Tirunelveli district drowned after their car fell into a pit filled with water on the Tirunelveli Highway near Sankarankoil of Tenkasi District. Police identified the deceased as Venkatesh and Sumithra. The incident occurred while the couple was returning from a relative's residence in Palayankottai. Investigation is ongoing.
