CMC, IIT-Madras make physiotherapy robot for stroke survivors
Christian Medical College, Vellore and IIT Madras developed a portable robotic device named Pluto to aid stroke recovery through hand movement therapy. Over 1,000 patients have used it in nine clinics across India. Licensed to Thryv Rehab Solutions, Pluto aims for large-scale home-based clinical studies for further validation.
