Chided for death of puppies, woman constable kills herself in Tamil Nadu
A police head constable, D Girija, died by suicide after her husband blamed her for the accidental deaths of their pet dog's puppies. Childless, the couple had been caring for their dog. Following an altercation, Girija was found hanging at her Kancheepuram residence.
