Cabral: BJP requested me to resign, was not forced

Former PWD minister and Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral has resigned from the chief minister Pramod Sawant-led cabinet but will continue to be part of the government as an MLA. Cabral stated that his resignation was a request from the party and the chief minister, and not a forced decision. He expressed his commitment to the party and hopes that development work in his constituency will continue. Cabral also mentioned that Manohar Parrikar is his role model in politics.
