5 trekkers return home in coffins, some still missing

Five coffins reached Kolkata by flights on Monday, the highest body count to be transported to the city in a long time. At least five more bodies are expected to reach Kolkata on Tuesday, all casualties of a Himalayan tragedy. Several more trekkers had gone missing in treacherous weather between Harsil — at an altitude of 2,745m in Uttarkashi — and Chitkul at an altitude of 3,450m in Himachal.
