Wagner to leave Bakhmut by June 1, transfer control to Russian army

The leader of the Wagner mercenary group, Evgeny Prigozhin, has announced that his forces will leave Bakhmut on 1 June to transfer control to the Russian army. The group has claimed to have fully captured the Ukrainian city; however, Kiev denies this, stating that battles are ongoing and that it still retains a corner of the city.
