TN nearing end of second wave, says health minister

Fresh cases of Covid-19 continued to fall in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, when the state recorded 3,479 cases compared to 3,715 cases on Monday. However, deaths reported rose from 54 on Monday to 73 on Tuesday. Tuesday’s revision took the total number of cases to 25.03 lakh and cumulative toll to 33,122. At the end of the day, there were 34, 477 people still under treatment for the viral infection.
