TN extends lockdown till August 9, no new relaxations
Tamil Nadu government on Friday extended the existing lockdown till August 9 with no new relaxations. Daily fresh Covid-19 cases reported in the state increased marginally over the past week. The government also observed that in some places, particularly within city limits, people tend to crowd, thereby paving way for the infection to spread further.
