Telangana: Man takes own life; wife says torture by police led to death
A man from Mulkanoor village in Hanumakonda district died by suicide, with his wife alleging that police torture led to his death. She claimed that her husband was beaten in custody by a sub-inspector to coerce a theft confession. The police have registered a case and are currently investigating.
