‘Taunts like Didi, o Didi reflected in ballot box’
If a section of Kolkata’s women’s rights activists is to be believed, BJP partially lost its plot the day the party chief in Bengal, Dilip Ghosh, ridiculed Mamata Banerjee at a Purulia rally and asked her to “wear a Bermuda” if she wanted to “show her leg”. Added to that was PM Modi’s ‘Didi o Didi’ chant at rallies.
