Rescued endemic hump-nosed pit viper delivers seven offspring in captivity
In a rare occurrence, a recently rescued hump-nosed pit viper in Valpoi has given birth to seven young ones in captivity. The hump-nosed pit viper is a venomous species of viper, endemic to South-Western India and Sri Lanka and generally found in dense and moist forested areas.
