Ponda double murder over borrowed money: Police
Police, who arrested the accused in the Ponda double murder within 24 hours, said that Jeevan Venkatesh Kamat, 65, was killed as she was pressing the accused to repay the money she had lent him. Her sister Mangala Tulshidas Kamat, 75, was killed in the process of saving her, Ponda police said.
