Plastic manufacturers in T.N. move Madras High Court, say local manufacturers put at disadvantage due to State regulations
The manufacturers have said they are unable to obtain the Extended Producers’ Liability authorisation from the Central Pollution Control Board, due to T.N.’s refusal to provide ‘consent to operate’ certificates after the imposition of the plastics ban; this has allowed manufacturers from other States an advantage, and plastics continue to be brought into T.N. from elsewhere, they said
