I thought we were pretty sloppy today, we dropped a couple, though they were tough ones. But what we showed today was that you need all your players, everyone in your 15 to contribute."

On chasing teams winning so many games

"It's really strange. There's no dew, but the lights take effect and the wicket speeds up a bit. I was hoping to lose the toss and put a total on the board and defend it, but it was good to chase that target down in the end."

"Talking to Marcus Stoinis at the other end, we discussed what the bowlers were looking to do. (Shaheen) probably bowled more pace-on than I expected. When I got out there with Marcus, he was really confident we'd get them, even though I was a little unsure. He found the boundaries early on, and I was happy to chip in at the end. It got down to two a ball, and from there it was if you got one in your arc, just try to hit it. Probably hasn't sunk in, I've just finished batting. I'm just happy to contribute. I was out of the team for a while, just happy I got an opportunity again."

Matthew Wade. Guess we'll also remember this name for a long time. He scored 41 in mere 17 balls, including three back to-back sixes to seal the victory for Australia. They needed 22 runs from 12 balls but Wade made sure they don't need the final over for the win. What a game in Dubai. Pakistan team and their fans will be heartbroken.

Australia will face New Zealand in the final of T20 World Cup 2021. A repeat of 2015 ODI World Cup final.

Stonis hits the ball hard down the ground towards deep mid-wicket but Shoaib Malik comes up with a good effort near the boundary to save two runs. After two boundaries, Rauf bowls a 147 kph to Stoinis who blocks it. A single to end the over, 13 off this one. Australia need 37 in 18 balls. Don't go anywhere!

There's a chance for Stoinis to take advantage of a free hit but his pull is straight to the fielder and the batsman collects two runs. After conceding the boundary off the first ball, Hasan Ali does well to finish the over. 12 off this one.

Another run out chance goes for a toss. Marcus Stoinis is definitely not finishing the run but the throw from bowler Shaheen is off target. Stoinis then gets a leading edge but the ball is just beyond the point fielder. Another good over for Pakistan. Just six and Australia need 62 in 30 balls.

Imad Wasim has come in to bowl his third over. Great start against Stonis who takes a single after three dots. Maxwell tries his trademark reverse sweep in the final ball, gets a top edge but the ball doesn't run to the boundary. Just three off the over. The required run rate is over 10 now.

Oh wow. Ultraedge shows Warner didn't nick it to the keeper so if he had taken the review, they would've said not out. But there was some sound and Warner didn't even consult his batting partner for a review. He thought he had edged it. There was no doubt among Pakistan players as they were very confident about the edge.

Run out chance but Warner survives. Maxwell calls for a quick single after a tap towards point. Warner gives up the running mid-way but the throw is not on target. Horrible decision to go for the single but no damage done. Nine off the over. Australia need another 88 runs in 60 balls.

Asif Ali's catch to dismiss Marsh was not an easy one. Under lights, the ball was moving but the fielder's concentration never wavered. Good over by Shadab Khan as he takes a wicket and concedes only five runs.

Looks like a close call on overstepping has gone against the bowler so free hit for Marsh. Shaheen changes his pace and the batsman misses his hit and fails to take the advantage. After the boundary, Marsh gets an inside edge but the ball misses the stumps and Haris Rauf does well to stop the ball at short fine-leg. A yorker to Warner to end the over.

Dream of a first over by Shaheen Afridi. First he traps Finch with a peach of a delivery and then almost pulls off a similar dismissal against Mitchell March. Umpire says not out and Pakistan take the DRS. It's umpire's call on impact and hitting the wickets so Marsh survives. The left-armer then beats the batsman on his drive. One run and wicket.
