Pakistan: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd disconnects 241 gas connections
Pakistan's Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has disconnected 241 gas connections in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad, imposing a fine of Rs 2.7 million. The disconnections were made due to illegal gas usage, meter tampering, and compressor usage. SNGPL teams discovered illegal gas connections and networks in various cities and imposed fines on the violators.
