New Town residents want cop verification of tenants

A day before the police, along with Hidco and NKDA officials, are scheduled to meet the representatives of several residents’ welfare associations (RWA) of New Town at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre to discuss security measures in the township following the Sukhobristi housing shootout, residents have come up with several demands — from installing CCTVs to police verification of the tenants.
