More women falling prey to infection in 2nd wave
Data from the health department show that number of women getting infected with Covid-19 has gone up during the second wave of infections. At present, women account for 38.5 per cent of total infections in the state, a number which was at around 34 per cent in July last year. On the national scale, women account for 36 per cent of the infections, slightly better than Telangana’s count.
