Tamil Nadu on Saturday claimed that it has got Kerala's official approval to cut 15 trees to improve the strength of Mullaperiyar dam, though the Kerala forest minister himself said he was unaware of any such permission. Forest minister A K Saseendran has ordered an inquiry.
