After a period of 18 months and three weeks, Mumbai on Sunday registered zero Covid-19 deaths, last reported on March 26, 2020. Considering that the city, among the worst hotspots in the country during both Covid waves, registered three-digit deaths on some days, the zero-death figure is being seen as a milestone.
