Kolkata gets Sunday shower, light rain on Met radar

The city woke up to a thick cloud cover and moderate showers on Sunday. Kolkata received 22.5mm rain during the day. It was heavier in the southern part of the city and lost intensity by late morning. The rain was triggered by a cyclonic circulation over Gangetic Bengal, said the Met office.
