Karnataka’s GSDP contracted by 2.6 per cent

Karnataka’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has contracted by 2.6 per cent compared to 2019-20. Attributing the decline in GSDP to the lockdown imposed to contain the spread of Covid, chief minister B S Yediyurappa said the tax collections have been lesser in 2020-21 as all economic activities were disrupted.
