Jayasuriya appointed Sri Lanka coach on two-year contract
Sanath Jayasuriya has been appointed as the permanent head coach of the Sri Lankan cricket team, effective from October 1, 2024, until March 31, 2026. His permanent role follows the team's good performances under his interim leadership during recent tours against India, England, and New Zealand.
